| Sunspot region AR0069 imaged on 17-Aug-2002 with an 8" Mak-Newt and Nikon CP995 direct-coupled to a 9mm Nagler EP using a full-aperture Kendrick/Baader filter. The high temperature, humidity, and cirrus cloud activity made capturing it a challenge. The inset is the pick of the litter of 400+ shots, and was processed with Images Plus and Adobe PhotoShop. |
