Taken mid-morning on 22-Mar-2003 between breaks in mounting cumulous clouds (North is up and East is to the left). Currently devoid of sunspot activity, save for AR-0317 near the filament in the central NW quadrant and AR0316 near the question-mark shaped filament seen just left of disk center, yet rogue filaments snake across the face and prominences continue to blast from the horizon.

Several quadrant images were also gathered during this session, and will be processed as time permits (hey. it's rag-top season and the open road beckons.... what can I say! :o)

Image Info: Canon EOS D60 digital SLR,
Coronado Solarmax90/T-Max, and 30mm blocking filter attached to a Takahashi FS128 via T-mount TeleVue 2x Powermate. Processing was done in Images Plus and final polishing in Adobe PhotoShop.
