| This H-alpha image was taken in the afternoon of 21-Oct-02. The ever lowering elevation as winter approaches makes for quite a challenge as more atmorpheric murk lies before the target. The massive sunspot regions near the top have dramatically altered surrounding H-a activity and are catalogued as AR0165, 0164, and 0162. Image taken with a Coronado Solarmax90/T-Max and 30mm blocking filter attached to a Takahashi FS128 using a Canon EOS D60 digital SLR using a TeleVue 2x Powermate with T-Adapter. Processing was done in Images Plus and final polishing in Adobe PhotoShop. |
